*They hated her at first... but they had no idea who she really was.* ........... Serena Carter was just trying to live-trying to find peace in the mess that was her life. But one accident changed everything. Abandoned. Alone. She was sent to live with the Morettis-four brothers and a father who wanted nothing to do with her. She was the reminder of their mother's biggest betrayal, the stain on their perfect legacy. Ten months. That's all she had to survive before she turned eighteen and walked away for good. Easy, right? Wrong. Because the Morettis might have convinced themselves they hated her, but hate was a tricky thing-it turned into obsession, into protectiveness, into something none of them were ready for. They thought they knew her, thought she was just a mistake that could be ignored. They had no idea. Because Serena had secrets-ones even she didn't fully understand. And in a world where power was everything, she was about to become the most dangerous piece on the board. She wasn't just a mistake. She was a Moretti. "You can't take all of us, sweetheart." Valen's voice is smooth, teasing, but the way his fingers brush against my hip isn't playful. It's testing. Behind me, Fennec chuckles, his breath warm as he leans in, his lips barely ghosting the shell of my ear. "She could try." His voice dips lower, dragging heat down my spine. "I'd love to watch her try." ------------------------------- Soraya Cordova was never meant to survive. Stolen as a child and discarded as a mistake, she was given a second chance when the Cordovas adopted her into a life of wealth, secrets, and silent wars. But when her parents are declared dead and the world turns against her found family, she realizes survival is no longer enough, she needs to fight. Raised as assassins, her adoptive brothers have spent years keeping her in the dark, but now? Now, she's in the center of the storm. Wanted by the government. Hunted by the man who created her. And trapped in a dangerous game of love, loyalty, and lies with the only people who have ever mattered. Because in their world, trust is a weapon. Not all love stories are gentle. Some are jagged at the edges, built on shadows and sins, tangled in pasts too dark to escape. White Lies is one of those stories. It's about the things we do to survive, the lies we tell to protect, and the love that thrives even in the darkest corners. Read at your own risk.

I AM STILL ACTIVELY EDITING AND CHANGING MINOR DETAILS IN ALL PUBLISHED CHAPTERS (This is just a warning in case you get confused by a change in details; sorry!) I hate the first chapters and WILL be changing some of it. The general vibe will definitely be there, just a little different writing style. It was a rough rough draft. Much love<3 Seventeen-year-old Jules has been running from her father and brothers ever since she 'betrayed' them four years ago. According to the mafia code, she must suffer for her actions, and her family is more than willing to make her pay. After, of course, she completes her task of being in an emergency arranged relationship with the man who orchestrated her downfall. In a world where everyone is out to get her, betray her, and make her pay, who will succeed? Blaine: She has ended lives. I remind myself when feel like loosening the bone-crushing grip I have on her. I rise from the bed, holding her tightly to my chest, with her face directly in front of mine. She pauses her squirming, seemingly giving up. Stupidly, I study her face, we all do. It's weird, feeling her labored breathing on my face, almost as a reminder that she has been breathing this entire time. Even when we would forget she existed for months on end, while the men and woman assigned to find her would work day in and day out to complete mission fucking impossible. It's been so damn long since I saw any version of her face in person. I hate her, but I hate myself equally as much for letting this happen. I watch her as she slowly makes eye contact with each of our brothers, then back to me. She smiles. A painful and angry smile, as if telling us we will never again see a happy smile come from her. She hates us more than we have ever hated her. We knew that though. "Hello, brothers." She says menacingly, right before kneeing me in the dick.

He asked, his piercing gaze meeting hers through the mirror. His one hand was resting on her stomach, keeping her close to him while the other one touched her head. "This-" He moved the finger from her head to her heart. "-this-" He pulled her closer from his other hand. "-your whole fūcking being, belongs with me, get that?" He asked, raising her chin to make her look in the mirror. She should push him away, she should be telling him how much she hates him but she found herself nodding. "Words." He pressed. "Yes," She mumbled. "What's your name?" "Roop." "What's your name?" He asked again, pronouncing each word clearly this time. "Roop Mehrotra." "Roop. Amrit. Mehrotra." His jaw tightened, "Say it." "Roop Amrit Mehrotra." She breathed out, trying to get away from him but his grip was firm. "Right, and it's going to stay just like that." ••• Two people, one unwanted marriage.
