"Well well well. There he is." Said Pidge as Keith trudged over to their table.

"Not a word." He glared and sat beside Shiro.

Hunk handed Keith his hydro flask. "How's your head? You had a lot to drink last night."

"Never had anything to drink before last night."

"What?" Pidge scoffed. "Keith, you dork, why would you drink so much in one nigh?"

"Especially if you hadn't drunk before?" Allura added, brushing his bangs out of his face. "You should've stayed home and slept in."

Keith pushed her hand back so he could rest his head on the table. "Have my midterm in psychology. Can't miss it."

"Why would you drink so much the day before you have a test?" Hunk asked. "What even made you drink like that in the first place?"

After releasing a groan, Keith covered his face. "Can you just wake me up in ten minutes?"

Shiro checked his watch. "Doesn't your class start in another half hour?"

Pidge elbowed Hunk and asked, "Isn't Lance's class done in ten minutes?"

"That it is."

"So," Pidge turned back to Keith, "seeing that you're avoiding Lance now, I'm assuming your drunken state last night has something to do with him?"

Keith didn't answer.

Pidge rolled their eyes and went to poke his head. "I know you're not asleep, doofus."

"Leave him alone." Allura caught Pidge's hand. "He's had a difficult night." Then, giving them a wink, she added, "We'll get the details later."

Hunk looked at his phone as a notification popped up. "Oh, Lance is asking where we are. His class got out early."

Suddenly, Keith stood up with his bag in hand. "I'll be seeing you later."

"I knew you were faking, you liar!" Pidge yelled after him. Once he was gone, they asked the others, "You think the other one will be more pliant?"

"Lance is an open book." Hunk chuckled. "I'm sure he'll tell us something if we asked him."

Right on cue, Lance joined the table and plopped down beside Hunk. "Hey." He spoke tiredly.

"Hey there sleepy head. You like you slept well."

"Ugh, don't start. I didn't even have time to do my nightly routine. My face feels so dry right now, it's not even funny."

"So," Pidge began, "did you have fun last night?"

"Sure. Who doesn't like a good college party where students can go to forget about the stress of school?"

"Nothing... out of the ordinary happen to you?"

Lance tensed at the question, then brought a water bottle to his lips. "Um... no. Nothing, I don't..." he trailed off to drink his water.
