Chapter 2

Nathan's POV:

I woke up to the sound of my best friend and beta, Danny, running into my room screaming "we're late get up now!!" I looked at him with a pissed look but got up while he ran back out still screaming. Something about today felt strange, my wolf, Max, was surprisingly happy and willingly encouraged me to get up and dressed.

Come on Nathan I have a good feeling about today- Max said with our link.

Let me put this out there to all of you that are confused. My name is Nathan and I'm the next in line to be Alpha of the Silver Moon pack, one of the strongest and most feared packs in the world. Yes, I'm a Werewolf.

I ran downstairs and out of the packed, house not bothering to say bye to anyone because I was so late. I ran to my car and practically sped to school because I was so late. By the time I got there, lesson had started and I had biology so I ran to class and sat down after getting an earfull from the teacher.

 After biology, there were a few more lessons before lunch I just breezed through them and tried to ignore all the sluts that tried to flirt with me. I mean sure I'll flirt back sometimes and get with them but I'm waiting for my mate, I'm already seventeen but I still haven't found her.

When I got to the cafeteria I sat down and started eating and talking to Gabe, when he just got up and walked away with an unreadable expression on his face so I just carried on eating when my nose picked up the most amazing sent.

"Mate" I heard max say in my head

I looked up to see Gabe carrying a small pale boy with a lip ring and a bunch piercings walking towards our table. Gabe sat him down and said, 

"This is Lucky and he'll be sitting with us."

 I looked up to see how cute the boy was. He had the most amazing green eyes, long curly brown hair that was half up and alot of piercings. He was wearing tight jeans that showed his cute ass and a tank top. What stood out the most was his pale skin and plump pink lips that I wanted to devour and that lip ring made him even more irresistible.

No what am I thinking about I'm not gay, I like girls!

But why's my mate a guy?

I quickly snapped out of my daze and responded 

"well hi Lucky I've seen you around I didn't know you knew Gabe" that was a total lie, I just wanted to know there relationship since they seemed close and I didn't like it.

He just responded with a slight nod which hurt me. He looked at his hands and with that Gabe pulled him closer and that got me angry. No one but me is allowed to touch him. 

Damn, the mate in me jumped out already.

I stared daggers at Gabe before the bitch Marisa started talking 

"so Lucky what with the piercings" 

he just gave her a look of pure hate before responding "I just like them" he stated blankly 

. "well if you ask me they look kinda gay"  Marisa carried on,

that got my heart pounding. I looked at Lucky and he looked like he was about to cry. Gabe noticed as well and with one quick one move he had Lucky in his lap.

How dare he touch mate like that! I need to kill him.

I was about to shift and pounce, I was loosing it. If Danny hadn't mind linked me to calm down I would have.

I looked around and noticed that all the kids that were part of the pack were looking at me, and trying to mind link me and ask what's wrong. I also noticed Danny at the door. I mind linked him back.

I'm ok now ill tell you about it later - I said to him

I gave everyone a nod, they sensed I was back to normal and went back to what they were doing .

I looked back at Gabe and Lucky and tried to keep calm since Lucky had his head in his buried in Gabe's chest and Marisa's bitchy voice didn't help 

"what are you really gay? What's your and Gabes relationship anyway?"

 If he said they were together I would kill him "Yeah Gabe, what's up" I said wanting to know the answer.

Lucky started to tense while Gabe spoke "what's wrong with my little brother sitting in my lap and if i'm gay so what"

 My face turned to shock, but inside the feeling of relief made my heart flutter.

Gabe has a little brother since when?

Well, it doesn't matter I calmed down now. I still dont like how close they are to each other even if they're brothers but it still makes me feel better. "your brother?" Marisa squealed 

"yes" Gabe sighed "He didn't want people to know we were related but I forced him since he decided to let everyone se how cute he is by wearing what he's wearing. I don't want people eyeraping him"

That got me mad no one can look at him he's mine! Wait what, he's a guy. Why is he a guy? This isn't right.

I snapped out of my thoughts to see Lucky's face had gone red he looked so cute. I saw mischief flash in his eyes. Just as Gabe started to eat, Lucky leaned up and took a bite of his carrot before leaning back down with a satisfied look on his face, while Gabe glared daggers at him. Everyone on the table burst out laughing, anyone who knew Gabe knew that he hates his food being messed with, The last guy that did it got a broken nose.

After our out burst, mike was the first one to talk "your right Gabe he really is cute I could just eat him up. Look he's going red." He reached his hand out to touch Lucky's face.

I lost it I started to see red I wanted to kill him all the other pack members noticed that something was up. They sensed my anger. Half of them had gotten up to come and see If i needed help. While danny appeared at the door at the cafeteria again mind linking me.

Calm it Nathan what's wrong with you. Your gonna shift in front of every one - he said.

I calmed down a little and slapped Mikes hand away from Lucky's face so did Gabe at the same time. Lucky looked at me with surprise while Gabe looked at me with suspicion. I looked away not wanting to give anything away.

For the rest of lunch, Lucky stayed in Gabe's lap. I snuck glances here and there.

 Till the he bell rang to signal lunch was over Lucky jumped out of Gabe's lap and was about to walk away. Before he did Gabe caught him by his waist and pulled him in till there chests were almost touching.

 Gabe bent down and whispered something in his ear that no one heard it but I did because of my enhanced  hearing "I was serious come to me if you need anything."

I couldn't help but  think that they were a bit to close. I shrugged it off as Lucky nodded and walked over to two of his friends. An Asian guy and a Pretty girl. I watched him leave with them. I went to the rest of my classes.

I need to think and get my head over it. My mate is a guy AND a human. Oh my god. It's finally sinking in.

What do I tell my parents? What will the pack think? I'm not gay. Should I reject him? He's human 

But I don't want anyone else touching him.
