"Hold on. What do you mean you're at the station?" Harley exclaims down the phone. After the events of last night, she sat with Dom for a while to just talk through things. She'd left out the part about her and Letty working for Brian; if he knew she'd actually done it for him - almost died for him. It'd break him. He'd blame himself for it all like he tried to before. Instead, she told him she didn't feel like talking about what had happened before. She'd just went over the actual accident with him. Then she'd gone to bed, falling asleep within seconds. So imagine her surprise when Mia called her at noon and said she'd been taken in for questioning about Dom. Now she had to haul her ass down there and sort them out.
"I'll be there as soon as I can." The woman assures her.

"I'll see you soon." Mia says before hanging up. Harley runs a hand through her hair, taking the pills by her bed before standing up. It doesn't take long for her to throw on a dress and boots. She picks up her phone and goes down to a number she hasn't dialled in weeks.

"Agent O'Connor." The person on the other end greets and she rolls her eyes, walking out to her car.

"Listen Brian, I'm gonna need you to get Mia out of jail now." Is how she greets him, starting the car and putting the phone on loudspeaker.

"Harley? Are you okay?" Brian frets over the phone and she glances at the phone with narrowed eyes.

"Well someone tried to kill me and I was shot. So sure, I'm great." She comments sarcastically.
"I wouldn't call if I didn't have to. Just get Mia and meet me at the diner round the corner from the station." She orders him before hanging up setting her eyes on the road.

She's sat in a booth waiting when the pair walk in. Mia with a scowl on her face and Brian looking somewhere on the border of uncomfortable and guilty. The youngest Toretto slides in beside her with a small smile while Brian sits opposite the pair, his eyes lingering on the still visible injuries on the blonde woman. Guilt floods him instantly.

"Let me get you two a drink." Brian suggests with a trying smile, calling for a waitress. Mia gets a coffee bit Harley sticks with water. There's a majorly awkward silence as the three of them sit there.

"Why don't you tell me why you've kept us here, Brian." Mia speaks up, pushing her cup aside and looking at the agent seriously. Brian leans back in his chair with a sigh before looking at the pair.

"You know they're gonna capture Dom, maybe worse." He starts, resulting in the blonde woman gripping her glass tightly - her knuckles turning white just at the thought of him being taken away from her again.
"I don't want the two of you getting tangled up in this, so stay away from him." He tells them and Harley scoffs, rolling her eyes at his words. She'd say she's already been tangled up in it and it almost cost her her life. Mia clearly isn't happy with his words, looking at him with narrowed eyes.

"That's what you have to say to me after five years? That's all you have to say to me?" Mia questions him incredulously, Harley watches the exchange in interest - he'd be surprised at how much Mia can hold a grudge. And you can't exactly blame her for it either. Their entire family had been torn apart because of Brian. The agent in question is silent for a few moments. He just looks at the woman he fell in love with all those years ago.

"What I did to you was wrong. I'm sorry, it was - it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do." Wrong thing to say, Brian - is what Harley thinks mentally. If it was hard on him then can he even imagine how hard it was on them? The blonde looks down at her glass of water.

"Well I'm sorry too, Brian. I'm so sorry that you had to come into my home and pretend to love me. I'm so sorry that you ripped my family apart. I'm very sorry that that was hard for you." Mia snaps, glaring at the man in front of her; the emotion in her voice is undeniable. She's angry - something Harley hasn't seen too often. But here it is directed at the man she practically had heart eyes for.
