You felt yourself falling, falling, falling... and then gradually slowing down. It started to feel like you were floating now. You opened your eyes, not recalling when you closed them. It was dark, but at the same time illuminated. By gem shards of various colors. They floated around aimlessly, lots of whispers echoing around. It took you a moment to realize where you were. You are inside the cluster. You at first began to panic, but that seemed to incite the shards. "FoRm, FoRm, FoRm!" The thousands of whispers turned into shrill cries. "HaVe tO, wAnT tO! FORM...!" Your head pounded with the voices of over millions of descended gems. "Please, stop!" You pleaded. To your surprise, the voices did stop. You looked around, and the gem shards seemed calm. They whispered among themselves. Some floated by you, but you were too disoriented to notice. You slowly gathered your bearings. You're inside the cluster. You're attempting to stop it from forming. Perhaps a negotiation is in order.
"Uh... cluster?" It felt odd speaking after yelling out in agony for so much. Having uneven teeth didn't help either. The whispering stopped.
"D-do you think y-you could possibly... not form?"
That did it. The voices went into a frenzy, and you were surrounded by a white light. You could feel more parts of your body paining. An arm sprouted out of your back. Your left arm divided at the elbow into two differently colored arms (not unlike Smoky Quartz.).
"Ow! Ow! No! Please...!" You wailed, tears forming in your five eyes. The voices stopped once more, and the 'room' went dim once again.
"P-please don't yell again... I-I just want to help..."
whispers of "Sorry..." and "Help?" echoed around you softly.
"Instead of forming... w-why don't you..." You tried to think of something else the cluster could do besides form."...Talk?"
The whispers reverberated around you again, this time it was a mix of "Talk?" "Yes," "No," and "Why?"
"Because you need someone to talk to. Observe, you've stopped forming when you talk to me." You said, with a bit of a smile on your slightly deformed mouth. You spotted two gem shards floating near each other. You tried to awkwardly paddle over to them, and nudged them next to each other. "Look! You have plenty to talk about!"
The first gem shard, an orange one, spoke first. "Hi." The second one then said, "Hi." Back. They began to talk about something in audible to you. The other gem shards got the same idea. Soon the cluster was filled with whispers and conversations. It didn't hurt anymore, and come to think of it your voice didn't sound as distorted anymore either. It sounded more like... a harmony. A choir. You smiled, seeing all of these new friendships bonding. It seemed your work was done. A bubble formed next to you. It was the orange gem shard from earlier. The second shard bubbled it. The blue shard was bubbled back by another gem shard nearby."Yes, yes that's it! Bubble yourselves!" You said, as more and more shards bubbled each other. If the cluster bubbles itself, it can't form! The world is saved! Soon, you felt yourself slowly awakening, as the final shards of the cluster were bubbled. You snapped your eyes awake to find yourself completely... normal. No unsightly protrusions, extra limbs, eyes, etc. You were whole again. You looked forwards to find Peridot and Steven shaking you awake. "(Y/n)! (Y/n)!" You were a bit startled by this. "Yes?"
"The Cluster! It bubbled itself!" Steven exclaimed.
You simply smiled, and said; "I know."

As most of you may know, I am very occupied with schoolwork, and keeping my grades up. But despair no more. I will most probably update all of my books during my Thanksgiving break, so you can all look forward to that. See you next time!
