               Another heavenly day off for Konoha's skilled ninjas, meant another night of getting drunk inside their favorite grilled house.

Nothing better than to spend their once in a blue moon rest day devouring good food and beer with each other?

Besides, everyone in their circle of friends coincidentally happened to be free at the same day as each other, so letting this opportunity to bond go, was like wasting your favorite dish that your mother cooked for you.

The skilled ninjas were all drunk and tipsy after three hours of being loud and young.

"Saku?" Drowsily slurred the tipsy Naruko to her untouchable friend sitting right next to her on the floor.

Saku who heard how drunk her friend has gotten, he swiftly turned his head and looked down a little so he could worriedly see Naruko's intoxicated state, "Are you alright?" In which he asked right away, afraid that Naruko is harmed or some sort.

When he had gently brought his hand forward and placed it on Naruko's shoulder to steady her from swaying, the blonde Uzumaki noticed her friend was a little too concerned than usual.

And so through her drowsy eyes, she tried to focus at Saku and despite seeing three of him at the moment, she still spoke her thoughts out in a messy slur, "Saku..." Saku's brooding emerald eyes looked curiously at the drunk blush of her face, "are you nervous about somebrjon? (Something)?"

Saku had zero idea how he understood such gibberish sentence, but he just thought that maybe because they've been together since their chunin days, so Saku knew Naruko well.

They understand each other, maybe being a team has a powerful impact on it.

However, Saku stared at her in shock, because she was correct!

"I d-don't know." Saku was unusually a stuttering, flustered mess right now and he didn't even realized his hold on her shoulder had turned into a tensed grip, until Naruko had winced, so quickly, Saku swiftly drew his hand back in slight panic. After, he quickly stared at her with his lively eyes large and mouth opened out of shock and guilt, "Are you alright?! I'm sorry! I forgot you have a wound right where I held you—"

When he had tried to reach out again in an attempt to heal Naruko's aching shoulder, she had annoyedly blocked her hands using her slim wrist, and as respect for Naruko's personal space, he just released a sigh of defeat and didn't forced her any longer.

Saku sadly frowned at Naruko who supportively smiled up to him.

"It's fine." She shrugged her shoulders before gulping on her mug of beer, "I'm just a little worried," For some reason, Naruko's tipsy way of speaking had gotten better, which meant the effects of the alcohols were slowly fading, in which Saku was thankful for, "you were never the anxious type... you remembered someone, didn't you?"

The two of them have their own world at the moment, while everyone else were all preoccupied being entertained by Choji and Kiba's arm wrestle fight, whom not to mention, were very drunk already.

Saku sighed in annoyance as he threw his head back so his face was directed to the ceiling, "Maaaan, fine." He shyly pinched his nose bridge and grumbled stubbornly, "I remember Sasuko, I guess... sometimes..." Saku removed his hand from his face so he could open his eyes and gazed softly at nothingness of the boring ceiling, "...I couldn't help but wonder where she is... or how she is doing... or if she's had a boyfriend on her way to the path she had chosen... mannnn. I'm hopelessly—"

"In love." Naruko continued for him and they both chuckled heartily because it was true.

"I'm sure, that she's doing fine. She has to be so we can retrieve her back in one piece." Naruko grinned, "Kampai, Saku-san."

Shrugging his shoulders, Saku looked down to Naruko and grabbed his mug of beer, then the he softly smiled to her, "Kampai, my idiotic teammate."
