Your life is of no importance to the public, a useless slave doomed to work the horrible shifts your commanded. Your only break is at night to sleep if your aching body will even permit it. Your only true relief is death. The work is harsh, inhumane, and painful in ways unimagined. Such became the life for Avellis Leonix, her family robbed blindly by rabid bandits, and with their loss of their wealth went their freedom.
