Prologue - Demi

Demi Costello thought that they were best friends, but obviously not. Not if your best friend doesn't tell you why they're about to disappear off the face of the Earth. And no one seems to know where Kelsea is. So Demi decides to play detective, but from reading Kelsea's diary which she left behind, it's as if she is running around in circles. Nothing makes sense. No one will help her. And Demi grows frustrated as she learns about the things that Kelsea kept from her - family traumas, romance, and of course, incidences with Demi herself from Kelsea's perspective.
