Prologue

Leona Baker isn't your average 14 year old. Ever since her mother and father died in a car crash two years ago, she's been alone. Literally. After waking from the crash and realizing her parents were gone for good, she left. Since then, she's been living a hard life on the streets. That is, until she met him.

Robin Johnston was living a perfectly normal life, until the day his friends dared him to talk to the street girl. Nobody at Hope's Bridge High School seemed to know a thing about her, except the fact that she was homeless. Some kids laughed when they saw her, while others were scared.
