Chapter 1

Jason Douglas and Carissa Carmichael manage to fall head over heels for each other in the short time they both are attending a Summer youth convention before senior year. A scandal quickly derails their budding love and once they return home they both realize that their families are business rivals and that they could never realistically be together. Years pass and in an untimely manner Carissa's family business takes a turn for the worse. Carissa decides that it might be best for her family business if she marries one of the business partners heir to ensure the survival of the business, that is until Jason pops up again. In the end will Carissa choose true love or the family business?
