Mallory has always been vocal to her friends about her feelings towards Aquin, the Ace of the Basketball varsity team. However, her friends have always told her not to pursue Aquin, since he is known for never settling on one girl. On the other hand, her best friend helped her get closer to Aquin by setting them up for a dinner. Aquin was used to being asked out by girls, so it was no surprise when their team captain's twin sister asked him to dinner with her friend. His team captain told him to dump the girl right away. That was actually his plan, but when he saw Mallory, whose hair was still wet and messy, wearing a plain white shirt and track pants-clearly not trying to impress him like other girls-he became interested.
