Prolonged

Nero laid on the cold floor in his shabby house with silent tears streaming down his face, the smell of blood surrounded him in a sad depressing way.

"Me-mercy" he croaked, listening to his heart beat thumping in his ears, the nature outside had completely stopped. The frogs no longer croaked and the wind no longer blew, it was as if mother nature herself knew how utterly pissed off the two men standing before Nero were.
