The sacrifice

This is a story about two girls. Lily is a human while Elaine is a demon. Or that's what everyone thinks. Demons have control in a city, state, or country! They provide everything for the people. But they need food.. humans are their food. Without food, they turn into a monster. Every month, they have a sacrifice day. They pick a human to kill and eat. Elaine usually only eats men. But she decided that this time it would be a female. While Lily is shopping, she gets chosen. Yet she's pretty happy she was chosen. Why is she so happy to be chosen?! Does she live?
