Long ago, the Seven Dragon Sovereigns and the Dragon King perished from the battle with the Usurper King of the Heavens. But there was another dragon who was lost in battle, but rather than perish from battle, they perished from their own wounds......but was still able to appoint a successor. The Sovereign of the Heavens was the other dragon who was defeated when the Usurper invaded Teyvat.

Fast forward to thousands of years.......the new Dragon Sovereign of Heaven was born into the region of Fontaine.
