"It was the day of her engagement ball with Fiyero, and all Glinda could think about was Elphaba.
She had probably thought of her every day since their parting, but lately she had been able to think less about her. She truly thought getting engaged with Fiyero would help, but apparently she was wrong. Her mind kept drifting off to the past, to a time where things were simpler - or at least, a time when she still had her."

What if, when Elphaba appeared in the beggining of act two, Glinda had went away with her?
