He locked himself in his room for a while, yet he decided one thing, he have to meet his niece... And he did, after sneaking into the castle... It was awkward at first but after meeting more, they both hit it off, and they became attached to each another. He asked her if she wanted to come with him after he heard everything she went through... but Athy refused, she had hope in her heart that Claude can love her like Jennette... Daniel felt sad but still respected her choice. But he regretted his decision... Athy was framed for 'poisoning' Jennette and she couldn't even prove her innocents because Claude killed her without even giving her a chance... Daniel's healing heart shattered completely... Anger and hatred took all over him... All he could think of was avenging Athy... So when Claude held a banquet to celebrate Jennette's recovery... He sneaked in as a Dancer, hiding a dagger in his clothes... Once the music started, Daniel attacked Claude but before he can even touch him a black thing stabbed his heart...
