Description
Ridley Holland has just lost the love of her life. She has no desire to return to the world of motocross, but she knows Teuvo would want her to continue. So she plays the part: an upcoming professional athlete with inevitable determination to dominate and win one of the most important races in the Okanagan, all with the help of her new coach Jacks Gallagher. Jacks Gallagher knows the story. Ridley was involved in a fatal accident and she's recovering from the damage. She's fragile and faking it. He wants to go easy on her, but he has a job: to mould a professional racer into a champion. It makes him hate himself as much as Ridley hates him. On top of that, he's trying to maintain a program for kids who can't afford motocross that's falling apart. Everything is slipping from his control. As the tension increases between Ridley and Jacks, gravity becomes stronger and the Okanagan summer only gets hotter. There are secrets and lies and damaging memories, and love is the cause of it all.
