1. Once Upon a Time

Amaya expected a week of relaxation and sunshine when she boarded a plane to Puerto Rico.

Instead, she gets caught in a series of chance encounters with an unusual stranger. There's something different about Kai, and Amaya is determined to figure out his secrets. Luckily, Kai is happy to bring her along as he explores coral reefs and ancient caves. It isn't long before he seems like more than a friend.

But Kai isn't the only one with a hidden past. If Amaya wants to keep the new life she's built for herself, she'll need to untangle her family's secrets...unless they catch up to her first.
