Started Jan 4, 2022 Ended... I awaken to the bright morning sunlight shining through the huge window and the sound of the wind ruffling through the leaves on the tree outside. As I scanned my surroundings My eyes caught sight of several vases filled with red, yellow, and white rose that sat on top of the window seal, the nightstand on both sides of the bed and the dresser. The massive Namjoon poster hanging on the lavender wall and the huge white bunny rabbit sitting on the chaise at the foot of the bed had me thinking that I was in my old room back at my parent's house. To a normal person whose just waking up in her parents house it probably wouldn't be a frightening thought. It's was scary to me because haven't seen or talked to my parents since the day I married Nicholas Collier two years ago. They didn't like me dating him and they sure as hell didn't like the fact that I married him. They hated it so much so that my father threaten to do bodily harm to him if I chose to go against their wishes a few weeks before the wedding. I was a bit taken back in my parents rejection and threats towards the man I loved and wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I slowly and quietly try to ease out of bed until I realized i couldn't move my legs. The knowledge of knowing I was paralyzed from the waist down and seeing several machine hooked up to me cause me to began to panic. "Nicholas... Nicholas..." I franticly screamed at the top of my lungs as I continue to struggle to get out of bed, out of the room that looked too eerily familiar to me. Somewhere Downtown... "Laikin, do you realize that this is a large responsibility that you're taking on here?" Mom asked me while sitting behind her desk. "Yes mom." "I need you to understand that once you adopt Amir, his needs, happiness and well being has to take precedenance over yours." Mom states. "I know that mom." I replied while cradling Amir in my arms.
