Description
Vespasia Nursia is the granddaughter of one of the first victors of the Hunger Games. Growing up in District 02, she knows that being a victor comes with respect and prestige. But being selected as a Tribute for District 02 is not an easy feat. Only the brightest and strongest students are allowed to train and learn at the Higher Academy. Of those, only two students are selected for the honor of being a Tribute of District 02. When Vespasia learns that her sister is pregnant before she is Reaped for the 56th Hunger Games, Vespasia goes against the unwritten rules on volunteering and takes her sister's place. Being one of the smallest of the Career tributes, Vespasia will have to use everything she has learned for a chance at surviving the most dangerous game.
