A Mer's Duty

Cassiopeia has lost something very important. She has lost her song. A mermaid who can't sing is no Mer at all. Determined to regain her voice and her honor, Cass takes a journey of discovery to the infamous Museum of Vanished Things with nothing but her courage and an old compass to guide her.

This short story was written for the MerMay 2021 Contest by Tales of the Deep and won 1st place 🏆
