Stephanie Waters constantly fighting against her past hoping that one day that she'll forget it. Losing her voice at the age of five as well as her parents broke her making her believe that stars weren't meant to light up her soul.

But what happens when curious Jake Carter enters the picture and won't leave Stephanie alone. Wanting to find out about her past and the real reason why she looks at the world with broken eyes and can't help but feel something more for this broken girl.
