Description
Sixteen-year-old Brooklyn Fisher was a typical teenager--she worried about her grades and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Sure, her dad wasn't really in the picture, and her mom struggled to provide for her and her half-brother Paul, but she loved their little old house in La Push and the mornings she spent fighting with Paul over who got the last pancake (he always won). She had crushes, specifically on her best-friend-turned-sort-of-almost-boyfriend, Seth Clearwater. So, when the boys in La Push begin disappearing for weeks, only to show up with the same tribal tattoo, short hair, and even shorter tempers, Brooklyn struggles to cope with the changes that arise; most notably the fact that she suddenly has a baby on the way, and a baby daddy that won't answer her calls.
