Description
As the fifth daughter of a man who only values sons, Madeline has grown up unloved, neglected, and forbidden from the one thing she loves. She never knew her mother and despises her father who views her as an inconvenience at best. As a little girl, she naively believed she'd be able to be free one day, but as she grows up, she realizes what a foolish hope that was.
