Chapter one

Jayden Renolds and her mother have been abused by her stepdad, Frankie, for a while now. When Frankie takes it too far, Jayden’s life is suddenly turned upside down. She must prepare for and complete the most difficult journey of her life, with the help of two girls she never expected to meet.
Throughout this journey, she realizes things about herself she never would have known before, she makes some extremely bad choices, and she’s going to have to face one of the hardest decisions she will ever have to make in her life.
Can Jayden handle living life on her tiptoes? Living flat-footed is too safe, and Jayden is willing to do virtually anything to accomplish her goal.
