No one breathed. No one blinked. The only thing Ileia could hear was the sound of death. That's what Ileia's father has been telling her for almost two-hundred years. But when Ileia escapes her father and his assassin group, the Bleeding Hearts, and lands herself into saving a kid of an old friend, Ileia has to come to terms that the world isn't as black and white as she wants it to be. Her normal world of politics, death, and survival are merged with the unknown, High-School, comfort, and living. Ileia is forced to waddle through the gray space called friendship and maybe, just maybe, find the true meaning of being a monster.
