Chapter One

Lady Callie was a woman on a mission. She traveled to London alone on a quest to liberate herself from her estranged fiance Lord Thorbrooke, who, according to her is a womanizing, unfeeling, egotistical scoundrel. However, the arrival of her parents soon complicates the situation. After reasonable arguments from her father and lots of tears from her mother, Callie found herself staring at the end of a bargain: she was to spend four months with her fiance - four, whole months - before she could walk away, free from Thorbrooke.
