Prologue

Asha's been living with lions ever since Uru found her when she was a newborn. The only human in the Pride Lands, she grew up the outcast alongside Mufasa and Scar, the latter growing fond of her in unhealthy ways. Asha lived a relatively laid back life at Pride Rock as Simba's aunt and friend to all creatures big and small. But when Scar murders their brother and nephew, she realizes how important her home is and will do anything to protect it. There's just two problems she can't avoid: her diet of raw meat which is slowly killing her, and Scar's love woven with a desire to never let her go...
