Description
Marie Smith is a regular school girl living in Paris, France in the times of the slave trade, Marie risks her freedom by adopting a slave girl around her age and raising her as her best friend giving her privileges that other African children don't get in that time. Marie names the African girl Raina, Marie doesn't care if she gets caught but she will put her life on the line for Raina, she'll sacrifice her privileges in order to treat Raina like her equal, the girls get along well and have an unbreakable bond. The girls will face obstacles that they will have to pass in order to stay together as friends, the girls will stick together till death do they part, that is the oath they swore to each other, Until one day, the girls discover something that will change their lives forever.
