Prologue

When Steve Rogers takes the supersoldier serum and becomes Captain America, he is not alone in his fight against Hydra. Elke Fischer works for the SSR, often undermined for the twin crimes of being female and being German. Her terrakinesis makes her a target, but her determination makes her a threat, so when the chance comes to fight alongside the world's first supersoldier, she takes it. And when the Star Spangled Man succumbs to the ice, there's a new hero waiting in the wings...
