Now, in an unfamiliar time in a once-familiar place, his wish to be in the 1990s had come true. The people he'll meet, the experiences he'll go through; oh, how ignorant he is of what was to come!

Book 2 of Road to Redline It has been two years after the events of the Speed Master Competition that was held in the region of Boise, Idaho, and the Biker Mice have gone back home to Mars. Manuel is unsure if he will ever see them again, which saddens him as he arrives in Japan on a vacation trip to see his friend and fellow racer, Takumi Fujiwara for a few months. Unknown to him, the Biker Mice are closer than he thinks and need his help now more than ever. Kaido Kirafuda, Yuya's father, has captured them after they recovered Stoker and the blueprints of a device that can save Mars and it's inhabitants: The Regenerator! This fanfic is where humans and Katizens would coexist together peacefully. An 8 year old human boy named Gary is a human orphan at Megakat City Orphanage. A day later, a 25 year old burly Kat named Chance Furlong drives to the orphanage in his 1970 Dodge Challenger because he wanted a son of his own to love and care about. He adopts Gary and drives back to the salvage yard where a 26 year old cinnamon Kat named Jake Clawson wants to meet Gary and be like an uncle figure because he loves children as much as Chance does. Chance and Jake are best friends, but they are more like brothers to each other. A few years later, Gary is 15, Chance is 31 and Jake is 29. Chance decided to give Gary his Challenger when he got his license. Chance and Jake both decided to train him to become the first human and third member of the Swat Kats and be nicknamed Ghost. He would have his own vigilante outfit much like Gary Carmine from Gears of War, but with red and blue and Swat Kats initials on it. This is also a crossover of Swat Kats and Initial D.

Where the highways seem so desolate, and where the roads are empty, hope puts itself just by the end of it all, leading to the light of eternal happiness that people seek. Shinji Watanabe, 23 years old, is a lost soul, finding his purpose from the streets of the Tokyo Expressway, to the barren, long roads of the USA. This takes place 1 year after the final race. This stage has more intense racing and has cars more powerful than ever. Many changes have been made and some have new cars that aren't completely different from what they were when the series left off. All the characters also gets new jobs and Project D reunites and finally, we get to know Bunta's backstory.

Aedan reluctantly accepted, knowing that Botzos was the fastest racer in his group of buddies. Botzos had driven Aedan's road many times before. In fact, Aedan had a first hand look from the passenger seat of Botzos's Ford Fusion at how confident and precise his driving was. Knowing how hard this race would be, will he lock in his name for himself? Or will his winning streak end here against the fastest racer he knew?...

Se centran en el mundo de las carreras clandestinas callejeras en Japón, y toda la acción se concentra en pasajes montañosos donde se utiliza particularmente el estilo de conducción de derrape, denominado drift. La historia se desarrolla en la Prefectura de Gunma, Japón, específicamente en sus montes y los alrededores de las ciudades. Aunque los nombres de algunos lugares donde se desarrollan las carreras son de origen ficticio en principio en realidad no es así ya que se ha podido comprobar que todas las localidades que aparecen en la serie están basadas en sitios reales de la Prefactura de Gunma y están descritas y recreadas casi en su totalidad de detalles e incluso manteniendo sus nombres reales (excepto Akina, que en la realidad es la localidad de Haruna que a día de hoy está fusionada con la Ciudad de Takasaki).
