The crush falls down when she meets her arranged marriage husband, Trayton Doss. Being with Trayton makes Emilee realize that she didn't have a crush on Dayton anymore; she was in love with him. Although she did love Trayton, she wanted to be with Dayton. Then something happens to Dayton, something horrible. Emilee helps Dayton be where he's supposed to be, and goes on with her life.

HARMLESS.

There are wings of wonder, symbols of beauty, freedom, and desire. And yet, they terrify me. The Butterfly is a poem about the trembling border between love and fear, where tenderness becomes fire and the body becomes its own prison. It speaks of surrender, of obsession, of the quiet violence of emotion, when something so delicate can both save and destroy you. A haunting reflection on vulnerability, passion, and the danger of feeling too deeply.

Boy meets girl, typical I know. But there is something about different about the way she smiles. She is a little ray of sunshine, but somehow everything seems off.....

"He was nothing like I'd ever seen before. He seemed completely harmless, but turns out that isn't the case."

The way his lips formed the perfect words. How he didn't have a care in the world. Nobody could bring this boy down. He'd brush haters off his shoulders, and with a flick to his hair, he was on his way to take on the world. Sure he was quiet, and maybe a bit cocky, but he had teenage girls wrapped around his finger. He lived the life. Living the life with his best friends by his side, making hundreds, being the smartest guy in high school, and getting whatever he wants. Scarlett had it a little harder. I won't get into that though, my point is, this boy is like no one else. Scarlett doesn't know why he gets all this recognition. The boy who looks approachable on the outside but cold on the inside. On occasion Scarlett wonders how the little 14 year old boy, turned into this womanizing alcoholic druggie at 18. She guesses that just proves a lot can happen in 4 years. On occasion, Scarlett wonders what happened to Joel Daniel River.
